36 weeks and 3 cm dilated

Mar 1, 2016. #1. At my 37 week appointment, my doctor said I was 3-4 cm and 80% effaced. She predicted I will have the baby sometime this week; however, I've heard so many stories of women who went several more weeks at this stage. Does anyone have experience with this?
